Roger Mudre: Roger Mudre's paintings are created by the constant manipulation of acrylics and other media on the image surface. The thought of infinity as part of our lives has been the inspiration for his work. Multiple layers of glazes both additive and subtractive are applied over a metal leaf surface. These organic forms are created in the moment as the paint reacts to the process. Creating these microscopic worlds of cellular growths, auras, cosmos, places unseen and only imagined informs his work. |
